Tire Rules

  • Mandatory at all tracks.  Mid-Am has limited rentals for $20 per race.

  • Mandatory at all tracks. Mid-Am does not offer rentals, however there is limited availability at each track.

  • Completed tax information is needed in order to get paid.

  • Head and Neck restraint is mandatory at all tracks.

  • ITEMS ARE MANDATORY

TYPICAL RACE DAY SCHEDULE

PIT GATES OPEN:

+15 minutes after the pit gate opens:

  • Tire inspection open (SEE TIRE RULES)

  • First-time competitor or first time this season inspection is open 

  • ALL Area Sportsman competitor inspection at tech trailer open 

+60 minutes after pit gate opens:

  • Short drivers meeting 

PRACTICE SESSIONS:

  • Tax information must be on file to practice

  • Raceceiver check during the session

 

TECH/QUALIFYING:

  • Just before OR just after qualifying, there will be a technical inspection.  

  • Pre-Tech form completed by team to be eligible for tech

    • Any tech inspection before qualifying:

    •  No adjustments other than air pressure will be allowed once the car has been over the scales until your qualifying laps are complete.

OPENING CEREMONIES

  • Car, Team, Driver, and Radio silence during the national anthem

HEAT RACES (SEE HEAT RACE RULES)
Race Order:
Futures (not inverted)
Evens (inverted)
Odds (inverted)

  • Top 3 to scales immediately upon race conclusion

FEATURE:

Immediately after Feature race

  • Top 5 to scales 

Fan interaction this is vital to the success of Mid-Am 
+20 minutes after Feature Race
Pay to begin at the tech trailer (excluding the LaCrosse race).
